I keep on waiting till the clock ticks five in the evening and when it does, I immediately start to browse and I am not alone;definitely not alone as the status bar keeps on crawling. I leave my place and get to the room, bathe get dressed up, go to the canteen, get to eat some of the very very few edible stuff and return to my place just to watch the status bar being half way down its initial position and ho! I am all over the moon. The page is half loaded.. Yey!!
And I am working for a software company!!!

Bro, I used to type "mail.yahoo.com", hit enter, and go for coffee. The page would just get loaded when I used to come back (in ~20 min) :-p
I always believed things keep on getting better... and I have to eat my words now!
Many people left as they completed the training and the lan speed goes on reducing.I don't know why!just hate to browse at such a speed.
Infy should give everyone internet access at all time, but block all webmail, sports and social networking sites. But, employees need to demand that. Sensible things don't happen automatically.
I'm surprised to know that people have left 'coz of slow internet connection!!
no no no.. u got me wrong. no one left because of slow internet..
even though people left(because of completing their training and being posted) and the load on the server is less as there are reduced no. of people downloading or browsing, the internet speed is still not good.. i mean atleast there should be some sort of difference as the number of people left was in thousands.. :(

just a few evaporated drops doesn't make the sea dry. with more than 30K ppl starting to surf at 5pm, how fast do you expect it to be? :-p
